The TIPSY is an innovative park-fly model designed for the beginner to modelling, with numerous positive features in its favour. Ready-made one-piece polyhedral wing with integral motor pylon. The PUSHPROP concept protects the entire power system from damage on landing, and is also highly efficient, as the accelerated airflow from the propeller is not obstructed. The wing is attached by means of a plastic M4 screw fitted from underneath, which is virtually invisible. One-piece ready-made fuselage; the RC components are a simple push-fit in accurately sized recesses, and are easily accessible. Large-volume canopy is a precise fit on the fuselage, and is designed for easy access to the flight pack for battery changing. Symmetrically profiled tail panels are automatically aligned at the correct angle when glued in place. Ultra-lightweight SPEED 280 PUSHPROP motor system powers the model to height steadily and safely. The highly efficient EPPLER E 64 wing section gives the model an outstandingly good glide performance in conjunction with the CAM PUSH PROP, which folds back aerodynamically in the glide setting. The TIPSY is designed to use a specially developed NiMH battery, which provides a motor run of around 15 minutes. The TIPSY is extremely stable, but can be manoeuvred accurately using the RC functions motor speed, rudder and elevator. With a little practice it is possible to fly tidy manoeuvres in an extremely confined space.
